Patented PGYTECH Quick Release System, One Step to Attach

The PGYTECH Arca-Type Quick Release Clamp & Plate includes the SnapLock System. The quick release mounting base uses a clamp that locks by itself rather than a traditional knob. It lets you instantly mount the quick release plate in just one step. You can easily connect cameras and other gear to your gimbal, Arca-Swiss plate, sliders or tripods.

Multifunctional Interfaces for Wide Compatibility

The quick release mounting base is designed with an Arcac-Swiss interface on the side and the bottom contains 1/4” and 3/8” threaded holes, which is widely compatible with gimbals, plates, tripods and sliders.

Arca-Swiss Standardized Size

The quick release plate uses the Arca-Swiss standardized size, which is compatible with most Arca-Swiss plates.

Increased Grip, Extremely Secure

The quick release plate uses a patented tight-fitting screw containing a thrust needle roller bearing, which ensures the plate doesn't get undone. It mounts your camera very securely.

However, the system also works very well with LED lights where the thread is embedded in plastic and which is quickly broken if a holder is constantly screwed in and out. Almost Perfect - Peak Design Strap Compatibility

I'm a wedding videographer. I typically use my camera handheld with peak design straps tethered to the base plate as I prefer the low profile resting position this gives the camera especially when you have a larger lens on the camera. However, with the strap tethered to the base plate you cannot use the baseplate with the quick release clamp. One thing I think could really make this clamp even more versatile is if the corners of the clamp system were milled out, leaving space for strap tethers on the base plate to be left in place while using the clamp system.

Overall, can't recommend this plate and clamp enough. I just would find this upgrade to be phenomenal.

Best on the market

This must be the best quick release system on the market. Small lightweight plates, the screw with roller bearings to prevent the plate from unscrewing itself, and most of all the put on top and push action to secure the camera on the clamp. Works great every time even without looking at it. Highly recommended.

This product has streamlined my process of Real Estate shoots perfectly. Switching from my tripod to my gimbal has never been so easy.
