I bought the beetle clip version 2 to use with my new DSLR Sony camera, with Nikon lens and it is easy to set up, easy to use and works perfectly. Perfectly. I am looking to get another one for my other camera but this is one of the best items you could get to be hands-free
Beetle Camera Clip V2
The quick release for the Beetle clip works absolutely perfect for my camera. But, I bought an extra plate for my coffee mug too. I tapped a 1/4 20 in the flat part of the mug handle. Such a great option for other things too, (like light meters) that have a tripod mount. Best product for my purposes.
I really like the Beetle for transporting my 2nd camera when I am out on a shoot
I quite like the clip, I've never had anything like it before and it's very practical.
Leaving the camera in the clip when I'm backpacking really helps to free my hands, especially when I'm constantly picking up and putting down the camera.
It looks like it grips well although by the system it has, it seems that there is a side that is more raised than another, it does not seem that it will open and therefore fall, but the feeling is like that on one side is not well placed.
