I already had the mid size insert. This allows me to free up space in the back pack.

I use it for carry a R50 camera, the kit lens and a 75-300 telephoto lens, plus a GoPro camera and its accessories. Good: it is well made, with good zipper quality. It can hold all my stuff and still have some spaces for more things. I put it inside a 24L Osprey bag. It offers good protection. OK: it comes with a shoulder strap but it is awkward to use. Bad: It is a little too big and bulky to carry around in my bag.

The fact this insert transforms to a standalone bag is a very useful aspect. Also it's very rigid to protect gear from knocks & crushing in transit. It has a side entry as well meaning it can be opened from the side to gain access to the camera quickly. I've reorganised it to make storage for the camera there so the bag can be used in the field as would a normal side opening bag sling bag. There's a lot of space and it's fully customisable to suit individual requirements. Initially I found the strap attachments difficult to fix but I quickly worked this out. It's a well thought out item and fits brilliantly into a general purpose shapeless back pack for travel. It's not the most elegant bag but it fits a need, that is to have a multi purpose storage for gear/ act as a standalone bag/ as an insert for a standard backpack to carry photo gear safely. It's a very innovative product.

Good camera insert and really helpful during long travel

Really top quality - even the packaging is so highly impressive & professional. It made a great insert for my crossbody bag that I already had. I was struggling to find a bag I liked and I didn't want to spend the money (I have so many bags already) but i wanted a functional storage (and carryall) for my camera equipment. This was the right move. I saved hundreds on a new bag and this insert is functional on its own, too! It's great quality.

PERFECT BAG for storing sensitive batteries and then I put this perfect size case in a padded carrying case with many more things. Works perfectly! I recommend this bag to protect your sensitive stuff!

Excellent build quality, sturdy materials, fits well in my bag and was easy to configure for my gear. Very versatile, padding protects my gear. How it looks doesn't matter to me as it lives inside a backpack, though it does look good. Zipper seems like good quality, though I do wish it hinged along the short end as opposed to a long side. Seems like it shouldn't come with a strap but mine didn't. If I weren't putting it in a backpack that might bother me.

I tried all the big brand camera inserts and this is the best. Very well constructed with heavy duty strap connections, zipper and outer material. Inside is plush with a lot of stable padding. Unfortunately, this didn't fit my bag. If you have a narrow bag like those for mountaineering or canyoneering (in my case Ortovox Peak Light 32 and Mystery Ranch Scree 32) and I had to return it. :( Hey PGYTECH, can you make me one about an inch narrower and about 2 inches taller? I'd surly appreciate it!

I bought this case to hold camera equipment during a travel trip. The quality of this case is beyond superior! It is structurally first class and so wearable on the shoulder. It is so worth the money. The size and weight is just right.

Happy with the purchase. Item as described. It is a big too big for my mirrorless camera and accessories but over all happy. Good solid product.

I got tired of carrying all my gear in a back pack, so I am using this insert that fits perfectly in my carry on roller bag. I can remove it when going on safari's or just bring the whole suitcase. Has made my life easier to roll my gear and not have to spend a lot of money on a rolling camera bag.

This thing is way nicer than I was expecting. I bought it somewhat begrudgingly thinking it would be cheaply made and would only last for the one trip I need it for. Instead it's a new critical piece of my kit. It fits full size pro body SLR's, most lenses can be packed vertically, and the dividers are so surprisingly well designed. All materials feel high quality. Not sure why the title calls it waterproof, it's definitely just slightly splash resistant. Also, the large one fits in most airlines "personal item" category, meaning it's small enough to travel for free on airlines.

The only real complaint which in my opinion is a big complaint is that the Small Camera Insert's side access panel for the Flex bag sits on long side of the bag so in order to use the camera insert with the side access panel as intended the insert must sit vertically up in the backpack leaving and awkward vertical void on the opposite of the bag as opposed to sitting horizontally along the bottom frame of the backpack.

The medium size one is great just the small size insert has terrible side access placement.

This is a truly excellent product - clearly a lot of thought has gone into its development. In my opinion it would be handy and of negligible extra cost if a couple of extra dividers were included. I would also have been happier if the Camera Insert was also available in green.
