What are the functions of the OSMO 360 Camera Cage?

The OSMO 360 Camera Cage is custom-designed for the DJI OSMO 360 action camera, combining device protection and accessory expansion capabilities. 
The cage has a cold shoe mount on one side, a 1/4"-20 threaded socket and a strap hole on the other side, allowing attachment of tripods, fill lights, microphones, and other accessories. The bottom retains the camera's original 1/4"-20 threaded socket and quick-release interface. Cutouts around key areas, such as the battery compartment, power switch, and control buttons, ensure comprehensive protection without compromising precise camera operation.
The included silicone protective cover provides added protection for the lens and camera screen from scratches and everyday wear when the camera is not in use.

Will the use of the camera cage affect microphone performance?

No, the cage has openings at the microphone and audio pickup locations, ensuring that sound reception remains unaffected.

Is it necessary to remove the cage to charge the camera?

No. A side opening allows you to charge the camera directly without removing the cage, for convenient, uninterrupted operation.

Does the cage fit with the original factory transparent lens protector attached?

No. 

Do I need to remove the cage for battery and memory card replacement?

No, a side opening lets you quickly swap the battery or memory card without removing the cage.

Can the cage be used underwater?

Yes.
