The idea and product itself is incredible, and for a great price. The data transfer speeds are out of this world and I could never go without it. The only issue is the build quality feels quite cheap with the fragile-feeling plastic internal bay. Additionally, some of my micro sd cards don’t fit and fall out, having the same rubber bit like for the normal sd cards would be better

This neat device can accommodate 4 full-sized SD cards, 4 microSD cards, 4 nanoSIM, and a SIM ejector tool. It also contains a reader for 1 full sized SD card and 1 microSD card.The reader attaches via a short USB-C cable, and the whole thing can be encased in a rubber-coated container and attached by a carabiner clip. This is great for a camera and shooting in the field, or just for carrying data or extra SIM cards daily.Very neat combination and what feels like very solid construction.Ruler for scale.

The case comes with a metal carabiner to attach to the side grip of the handle. The case is enclosed in a thick rubber sleeve for added protection. A tray slides out to reveal the slots to hold the SD cards in place. The card reader has two slots for micro and full sized SD cards built into the side of the tray. The usb-c cable is also built into the case, and is unrolled off to one side so that it may be plugged into a computer. The storage case is a great travel companion for having the card reader built into the case.

Vert good surprise ! Didn't know that such a product existes, ordered it since the price was appealing : it works, looks solid, has enough cars holders for it to have a genuine value. I recommandé !

This memory card reader/holder all-in-one is made very well and is much heavier than I expected. It holds a mix of SD and microSD cards, and has the reader built in with a USB-C connector. the unit is big enough, in my opinion, it could have also included an older USB 3.0 connector/adapter, for maximum flexibility. As it is, I'll have to bring my own adapter to make sure I can use this with a computer that doesn't have a USB-C connector, which includes a large amount of desktops. Also, I think the price is a bit high for what you are getting. The reader is fast, no doubt, and was recognized by my Windows 10 computer instantly, but so are other units that cost 1/2 as much. The ability to hold cards and be a sturdy case is the extra value add, and it does deliver in this respect. The push-out method of opening it also leaves me questioning if or when the plastic nubs that holds it closed will wear out, as you must apply high friction force to it every time you open or close it. This device really works well for my camera and drone memory cards. I like that I can store up to 4 SD cards and up to 4 TF cards inside for my photo/video/drone hikes. I can also use this device to transfer files from the cards in my camera or drone to my laptop, phone or tablet. I could even connect this device directly to my phone and tablet to edit my photos/videos and upload them to the cloud, social media, etc. It is rated IP54, which I wish were higher, but it still meets my needs. It is also encased in rubber and protects my cards from any fall that I would normally encounter on my hikes. I also really like that I can connect two cards (1 TF and 1 SD) at the same time and transfer the files from both cards directly to my laptop. So, I can transfer files from my camera and drone at the same time. The connection is USB 3.1 type C, which works perfectly for all of my devices. It also comes with a very nice carabiner and a SD/TF card eject pin. My phone (Android 13), tablet (Android 11), laptop (Windows 11) and desktop (Windows 10) easily recognized this device and the cards connected to it without any problems. It works very well and for the price, I highly recommend this. It would make a great present.

PGYTECH CreateMate High-Speed Memory Card Reader USB 3.1 Type-C. I was actually quite surprised at how solid this feels when I picked it up for the first time. I got this in an effort to better organize my SD cards, as combining storage and reader into one seems like a great idea. When prompted by Amazon to rate it "for traveling", I did take a few stars off as it doesn't make the greatest use of space nor is it very light. I ran Crystal Disk Mark on a 64GB Samsung EVO Select U3 micro SD card using the PGYTECH adapter as well as a SanDisk and a Vogtek adapter I already have, and all had more or less identical speeds.

You get a decent memory card hub in this device. The connection cable is built in and stows away for safekeeping.The outside of the case is rubberized and durable in feel. This should hold up when thrown in a bag.The crown jewel - the card storage! Wow! You get space to store so many cards that would otherwise each have their own case. The addition of space for SIM cards is nice but the way forward for many phones is e-sim which leaves these slots vacant.One other downside is the difficulty in pulling the cord out for use. The SIM card remover helps.At $40 MSRP, this is a great choice.

Great little tool. Always in my camera bag. The only thing that would make this a 5 is if they had a design where you didn't have to keep the compartment open int order to connect to your computer. Other than that, works well.

Review I was looking for a compact SD card solution that I could use across multiple devices, carry easily in my bag, and store cards securely, and I think I struck gold. The form factor is compact, and the rugged, rubberized outer case feels great in your hand and seems like it would handle short drops without any issue. Overall, the unit is very user-friendly and thoughtfully designed. The SD cards slide in and out of the storage slots smoothly, and the attached cable is very convenient and easy to manage. With both SD and microSD card readers built into one device, I'm honestly considering replacing my SanDisk 1TB SSD. That drive works fine, but it's not nearly as travel-friendly since it needs a bulky case just to keep track of the cable. What I love most about this device is how seamless it is to move between devices. I can go from laptop to desktop to tablet, and even to my phone, without any hassle. I also use a body camera that records to a microSD card, and being able to quickly pull context and footage from that card without hunting for adapters has been extremely useful. I'm an Apple user, and I was able to plug this directly into my iPhone 15 Pro Max while sitting in my vehicle to read and save video files from my dash cam's microSD card. That alone was a huge win for me. Overall, this device solves multiple problems I had when it comes to reading, managing, and storing multiple SD cards, and it does it in a clean, compact, and practical way.
