What type of interface does the PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Helmet Mount use?

It features the new CapLock quick-mount system and comes with an action camera adapter and a 1/4" adapter. This mount can connect to action cameras and smartphones for shooting, with the smartphone requiring a phone clamp for use.

Under what conditions is the PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Helmet Mount suitable for use?

The PGYTECH Action Camera Helmet Mount can be fixed to helmets, vehicles, or other equipment using 3M VHB adhesive. It is suitable for use in environments ranging from -10°C to 40°C.

Note: When temperature is ≥10℃, press and adhere the base, then wait at least 24 hours before installing the mount; When temperature is ＜10℃, heat the base tape with a hairdryer, then press and adhere the base, and wait at least 24 hours before installing the mount. 

Can the adhesive of the PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Helmet Mount be reused?

The PGYTECH Action Camera Helmet Mount uses 3M VHB foam adhesive. Once removed after bonding, it cannot be reused.

The flat base is suitable for adhering to smooth surfaces on helmets or motorcycles. The curved base is suitable for adhering to curved surfaces on helmets or motorcycles. 

How can the adhesive base of the PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Helmet Mount be removed from a helmet or motorcycle?

Use 3M™ Citrus Cleaner to remove the 3M VHB foam adhesive before taking off the PGYTECH Action Camera Helmet Mount base. Avoid exert excessive force as it may cause damage.

Why are there cracks on both sides of the adhesive base of the PGYTECH CapLock Action Camera Helmet Mount?

These are mold injection lines, a result of the manufacturing process. They are not material cracks and do not affect the normal use of the product.
