OnePro Ultralight Backpack FAQ

What are the differences compared to the Flex and Focux versions?

The main differences are as follows:
1.The OnePro Ultralight is lighter in weight, making it suitable for users who prefer a lighter backpack for outdoor photography or casual use.
2.The OnePro Ultralight features a lightweight carrying system that balances professional support and minimalist design.
3.The OnePro Ultralight has a detachable waist belt, which can be stowed inside the backpack when not in use.
*The 20L version does not include a detachable waist belt.
4.The OnePro Ultralight includes a foldable dual-purpose inner compartment that can accommodate up to 1 camera body and 5 lenses.
5.The OnePro Ultralight has a sleeker, more casual style for everyday use outside professional shoots.

What advantages does the OnePro Ultralight's suspension system offer compared to other outdoor photography backpacks?

The 30L/40L models feature the mountaineering-grade AceFrame Suspension System:
1. The dual-frame structure, compared to traditional flat-frame designs, offers better ergonomics for enhanced comfort without intruding into the main compartment space.
2. Superior ventilation—the arched structure creates a suspended mesh back panel for true back heat dissipation and breathability. The hollowed-out design of the shoulder straps and waist belt promotes air circulation around shoulders and waist, improving comfort and heat dispersion.
3. The wider, thickly padded shoulder straps and a detachable waist belt evenly distribute weight, effectively reducing shoulder strain.
4. The adjustable back length mechanism allows quick and efficient adjustments to better fit users of different heights.

The 20L model features the AirFoam Suspension System:
1. The framework structure effectively distributes weight evenly across the back and reduces shoulder pressure.
2. The ventilated back panel conforms to the curvature of the back, providing support and enhanced breathability for a cooler, more comfortable wear.
3. The wider, thickly padded shoulder straps help reduce shoulder pressure during extended wear.

What is the back length adjustment range?

20L: No back length adjustment available
30L: 48-51cm/18.9-20in dual-setting adjustment
40L: 50-53-56cm/19.6-20.8-22in triple-setting adjustment

Is the waist belt detachable?

Yes. The waist belt is detachable (Note: The 20L model does not include a waist belt).

Is it compatible with the Tagport?

Yes, the specialised webbing straps on the side of the front panel can be used to secure badges.

What material is the backpack made of?

The backpack is made of high-performance nylon fabric.

Why is the backpack heavier than regular hiking backpacks?

Hiking backpacks are primarily designed for carrying clothing and typically use single-layer fabric with minimal pockets. However, photography backpacks require additional features such as equipment protection, accessory organization and storage, and dedicated laptop compartments, which naturally increases the weight.

Can I attach a camera quick-release clip?

Both the shoulder strap and waist belt feature dedicated camera quick-release clip mounting points. A fabric strap barrier is placed between the mounting points and the body to prevent pressure points, ensuring greater comfort during use.

Is it allowed as carry-on luggage?

Yes.

How is the tripod stored?

You can secure the tripod to the front or side of the backpack.

Can it store a gimbal?

Yes, the gimbal can be stored in the dedicated front expansion compartment.

Can it store a 16-inch laptop?

The 30L/40L backpacks can store a 16-inch laptop.

Is a rain cover included with the backpack? How is it stored?

The 30L/40L models come with a standard rain cover, which can be stored in the compartment at the bottom of the backpack. The 20L model does not include a rain cover.

Can it store a hydration reservoir?

Yes, the hydration reservoir can be stored in the front expansion compartment.

Can it stand upright on its own?

No.

Where is the Airtag storage compartment?

The Airtag storage compartment is located in the inner compartment's product label tag area.

Is the backpack washable?

No. It is not recommended to wash the backpack. The backpack's multi-layered fabric construction helps it keep its shape, and washing may cause structural deformation. Use a damp cloth or paper towel to spot clean as needed.

Very versatile and well made backpack!

All together this is an excellent backpack. I got this bag to replace the Pgytech Onemo 2. The Onemo 2 is a good bag but the water bottle pocket was so small it really couldn't fit any bottle bigger than 20oz. Also it didn't have many outside little accessory pockets which made you have to go inside the main compartment for everything. The Onepro Ultralight fixed the water bottle problem. The pockets are big enough to fit the standard Nalgene size bottle, and having the zipper pocket on top, the quick access to the front expansion which has to mesh pockets inside, and having a larger zipper pocket inside the side access gives you enough separate pockets to store little items. It is made very well and I like the rougher shoulder strap materials over the Onemo 2. It is one of the most comfortable backpacks I have worn. The waist strap is small, but it does do the job. They could have made it a little larger to help support a fully weighted bag, but it works. The cube that comes with it very well made, but I wish there was a large configuration that would take up the entire back opening. It only can made into a small and medium size. If it could be made in a large size, then I could fit the 150-600mm lens with the camera attached. I am able to build up the dividers to accommodate that setup, but it's not ideal. Other than nitpicking little things about the bag, the cube not having a large configuration is the only real big gripe.

Excelente calidad y acabados

Me encanta!!!

The PGYTECH OnePro Ultralight Camera Backpack is pretty awesome!

At first, I thought the PGYTECH OnePro Ultralight Camera Backpack was just another gear geek-oriented camera bag, but after feeling the materials and customizing the bag configuration for my needs, I was impressed. It has almost all the major features needed for a great hiking and photography hybrid backpack solution. The 30L model boasts a flexible and expandable design, offering both roll-top and full-back-panel openings for easy access to its contents. It comes with customizable dividers specifically for camera bodies and lenses. The panels are removable and transform the back into a more conventional hiking backpack. There is a separate compartment for a 16-inch laptop and tablet on the zippered back opening and a hidden pocket for an AirTag tracker. Additionally on the inside, you'll find several mesh pockets and pockets with slider-indicators to use with camera batteries. On the outside of the bag there are tie down points and some external webbing for MOLLE attachments on the left side shoulder strap, and a generously sized mesh fabric phone/radio pocket on the right shoulder strap. For comfort and support, it features an AceFrame suspension system which has an aluminum frame and a ventilated fabric back panel, enhancing airflow and weight distribution. The padded shoulder straps are designed to handle heavy loads comfortably and are adjustable for different body sizes.. Quick access and storage are facilitated by a side-access panel for rapid camera retrieval, along with a large stretchy side pocket for a water bottle or tripod, and multiple small pockets for accessories. The bag is constructed from high-strength nylon and waterproof TPU-coated materials, ensuring durability and protection against the elements. The only thing that would cause me to reconsider is that the waist belt may not be comfortable for those with wide hips, but I personally didn't have this problem.

Amazing product

I purchased this camera bag and the only reason I returned it was too small to fit a 600mm. Dont get me wrong, it's a great backpack, good quality and very comfortable, but too small for me. I highly recommend for hiking with a regular lenses.

Great bag, doesn't fit small women.

This pack has a great set of features and it comes in a swoon-worthy purple color. Sadly, I had to return it. I am a small-framed woman and I just couldn't get it to fit, even with everything adjusted as small as the various straps would go. Giving it four stars for that reason.

FINALLY, I found the PERFECT backpack!!!

I've been searching for a long time for a backpack that would be suitable for both mountaineering and city breaks. I've ordered and returned everything I could think of. Shimoda, Peak Design, Tenba, LowePro, and many others. Many backpacks had great features, but there was always something wrong. And finally, this backpack combines all the advantages of different brands. And finally, THIS backpack COMBINED all the advantages of other brands into the perfect backpack. I bought the 20-liter version. But I think I'll buy the 30-liter one as well.

Excelente!

checks all the boxes except execution leaves desire

Like most photographers, looking for the perfect backpack is trial and error. This pack when announced seemed to hit a lot of things I've sought after; a suspended mesh back, back access to all the gear, expandability for extras, adjustable torso, comfortable and breathable straps, mesh side pockets, huge dump pocket, side quick access, and a nice aesthetics. Suspension is mostly comfortable, as it does have an adjustable torso, load lifters, chest strap, and hip belt that is removable. The hip belt is probably the weakest link of it all. While better than just a webbing strap, it is a far cry from hip hugging. The other issue that presents itself with this, is the frame digs pretty noticeable into the hips. A smaller frame person may not notice this. There are quick a few pockets, and little organization. There are 2 no-zip mesh admin pockets inside the dump pocket, 4 smaller "battery" pockets in the side quick access, and one weather resistant zipper quick access pocket at the top. This top pocket is perhaps the the weakest; its location makes it easy to want to access, but the weather resistant zipper provides quick a bit of resistance to open. The capacity is also very limited; I estimate a few keys, and wallet would take up everything (it is not padded so no sunglasses). The inner works of the bag is interesting and can be viewed as two compartments. The bottom half is accessible via the back access or side quick access, while the top compartment can only be accessed through the roll top; there is no quick access to this, nor can it be opened to make it one giant compartment. Bottom compartment can be subdivided with the plethora of subdividers provided. Back access has a nice size laptop sleeve, but the way it opens requires both zippers to be operated and pulled all the way to each end, making the back access a very slow process. Add to the fact that the hip belts will get in the way of getting each zipper all the way to the end of the track, back access starts to get super annoying. Handles are also another weakness of the bag. They are skinny, but padded at least, but very skinny. One top and one side handle. There are not any apparent luggage trolly straps.
