Works really well, comfortable and feels nice around my neck I just wish it was shorter, I feel like it's longer than needed at max length and a comfortable medium length at its shortest, I'd love if it could sit closer up my chest

This shoulder strap is made of high quality material. Definitely strong as well, so you won't have to worry about it failing and dropping your camera.

The quick releases beads work fantastic and stay securely in place. I purposely don't have the small strap triangles on the sides of my Sony mirrorless camera because I often hybrid it back and forth between a camera cage and being handheld with no cage, and those little triangles get in the way of the cage. So my point here is, the Arca-type QR plate that was included was a huge plus for me, as I was able to attach the strap to the plate instead. I can't emphasize enough how important it was to have that plate included and I'm so glad they did.

Overall the build quality is excellent and you won't regret purchasing this fantastic shoulder strap.

This thing is awesome. It’s great to see another company compete with the popular peak design quick release straps. I have one, but I find this system works better. The hookup points are more of a tear drop shape, circle ball design compared to the flat peak design kind. It sounds more awkward by its shape but it actually functions better. The click into the strap is loud and makes you feel confident that you have a secure connection. The press to release the strap also feels more fluid. The strap itself feels nice and thick, and the material feels soft and doesn’t cut into your neck like most neck straps. I used this on my run and gun camera setup. This allows me to not just have my hands free to relax the weight off my arms, but with it on it allows me to have a 3rd point of contact with my camera. Which lets me have more of a stable way of filming. Great strap, definitely recommend!

This strap has a lot of great features. It constructed of soft, thick nylon webbing with reinforced stitching throughout. The plastic hardware is designed especially for this strap system and it’s functional and durable. The neck band is soft padded and widened for comfort.

I like the quick release system incorporating a ball on a short tether that can disconnect from the camera with a firm press. There’s a reassuring “click” when it’s engaged and the design makes it nearly impossible to come out accidentally.

But the one problem I have with it is that it is too long and can’t be made shorter. The shortest length is 42” and longest is 58”. If my camera is worn in the sling position, then it works fine. But when I want to wear it around my neck, then it’s about a foot too long. Everyone likely has their own ideas about length for camera straps, but I would have appreciated the option to make it shorter. A second concern is the large loops that form when the strap is shortened. Hardware to keep them in check is needed.

Bottom Line: Well made, durable, comfortable strap. It's long and when shortened, large loops are created that make the camera difficult to pack. With a few changes, this neck strap could be much more functional.

This is actually a great strap. It’s comfortable and both sides of the strap have quick adjusters. It comes with two sets of attachment balls and a bottom plate. The strap stays secure when attached and releases quickly when needed with the squeeze of a rubberized button. Overall a great strap for DSLR’s or any camera for that matter. It holds my 6DMK2 with a 24-70F2.8 comfortably and securely for long periods which is great for that heavy combo so any lighter setup would be cake.

Love the thought that went into the design of this strap kit. From the packaging to the materials, everything is well made and high quality.

The novel quick connect mechanism is fantastic because it is both secure and doesn't add bulk to the camera when you remove the strap as would be the case with plastic clips for example. This is great if you often use the camera without a strap (e.g. set up as a web cam) since the small plastic beads are hardly noticeable and don't get in the way.

It comes with an Acra base plate that lets you quickly move from tripod to on body. A minor nit is that the baseplate requires a hex key to tighten.

The padding is cushy and soft without being overly thick and bulky. And the webbing that the strap is made of is thick and durable.

And this is where I have to dock 1 star: because of how thick the material is, it doesn't want to sit flat when doubled over. At full extension, this isn't an issue. But if you adjust the length of the band to get the camera closer to your waist, the strap loops open up. It would have been easily solved with two bands to hold the loop closed.

Still a very high quality strap and perfect for folks who often switch from strapped to strapless, but it's one small detail away from greatness!

Since I happily own a backpack from PGYTECH, I know that I would also be happy with the camera strap from them. The strap is very well made and looks great. I also own a strap from Peak Design that has been on my camera for years. Both are great but I do prefer the connection system of PGYTECH over Peak Design. The load-bearing cables of PGYTECH connectors feel more robust than the Peak Design ones.

While I like that the PGYTECH strap has padded section, it does make the strap less compact when trying to pack them away in my already crowded camera backpack. When it comes to longer shooting days, I would prefer having the shoulder pad to give my neck/shoulder a break.

Overall, I’m very happy with this strap and the silver color matches very well with my silver OM-5 camera. If you’re looking for a well-made and comfortable camera strap, I’d highly recommend this one.

Easy to attached to camera body. Easy to remove. Very flexible. Well cushioned / padded. Comfortable. Easy to adjust length. Nice color. Very pleased! Recommend!

The quick release mechanism is as intuitive as the PD one I have, this by no mean a cost down or cheap version of PD product, it is equally priced and feel as good as the PD product. I have included a picture comparing the quick release side by side with the PD one.

There is a lot to like about the Pgytech strap. It comes with extra bead connectors, strap clips and a Arca-Swiss plate and an Allen wrench. The plate fits well on my Arca-Swiss tripod heads including my Peak Design head. The adjusters are easy to slip to get the right size. The parts are mostly plastic, but feel like they are sturdy.

The strap itself feels like the same material used for seat belts. It is flexible and can easily be rolled up. The strap is 1" wide and at the shoulders there is extra padding expanding to 1 3/4" wide. One side of the shoulder strap has raised printing to resist slipping, it is not as effective as the anti-slip material on a competitor's strap. The beads are easy to insert and release. The beads are not compatible the disk-based straps.

The strap is comfortable even with my heavier DSLR and lens. The craftsmanship is excellent, I expect this strap to perform for a long time.

Nice strap for the Cannon R7 with small lens. Comfortable also. Not as robust as the more expensive brand I own that as tough as a seat belt

The strap is slightly wider, significantly thicker, and much much softer than my Nikon D 800 strap. The holder where the ball goes into are plastic are rubber. It takes a significant amount of pressure on the rubber membrane to release the ball from the holder. The ball will not come out accidentally, but the ball is easy to insert into the holder. The buckles that are used to adjust the length of the strap are plastic with no clamping mechanism. Once the camera and strap are around your neck you can use the small fabric tab to shorten the strap by pulling up with the tab. To lengthen the strap, you hold the buckle on the sides with one hand and pull the strap down with the other hand. It works easily for me. All-in-all, I like this strap.

Padding is a great addition especially for telephoto lenses and the toggle shape means no tangless

I wasn't sure what I would be getting when I ordered this strap. I just wanted a comfortable strap and the PGYTECH 1.8" is it! I have tried all kinds of straps but never worn one that is not only incredibly comfortable but also so utilitarian and top-notch quality. The way you can move your DSLR to take a shot is pure magic. It's so good, I'll be buying another one very soon.

I'm so glad I purchased this over another big brand as I feel you get more dollar for dollar. Adjustments are smooth and fast plus I never have to worry about a twist in my strap when I clip in because it can rotate freely. It feels great quality and I trust even my heavier setup on it. I'll update this review if time tells otherwise but for now it's 5stars all the way around
