I wish I'd bought one of these a long time ago!No more "Bump, bump, bump" of the camera on my stomach/chest as I walk, no more having to hold it with one hand when I bend over, lean or climb over something.I was worried that my camera would wobble around on the rucksack strap, but it's rock solid (Nikon D7000 & 50mm lens used so far).Build quality seems sturdy & well made.I'm looking forward to a long & fruitful relationship with it & may buy another base plate for my smaller camera....

Could not have been more satisfied with this product. This camera clip literally saw it all. I bought it specifically for my Europe trip, and it exceeded my expectations. From navigating the pickpocketing parts of Italy, to running and walking the hiking trails in the dolomites, I never doubted this clip’s ability. The small flip tab on the release mechanism to put it into the lock position put my mind at ease that it wouldn’t be stolen, or that I wouldn’t accidentally hit the release button when the hiking difficult bits and risk my camera dropping hundreds of feet. Excellent product design, and I would recommend it to anyone.

I got the Clip as a X-mas present and i'm always so stoked when I prep for another shooting sesh.
Before I got the Clip I used a HMS Carabiner to attach my Camera which is a Nikon CoolPix P900 on my belt.
It worked out kinda good but the Beetle Clip is just a life changer for me... Not to mention I lust a battery cuz the camera was swinging with the Carabiner quite a bit and someday the battery hatch opened without I noticed it. THX to the clip this will never happen again.

I use this specifically for my dji osmo pocket 2 but i had to get a few other things to make it work.extra buys:1. PGYTECH Action Camera Arca-Type Quick Release Plate for Gopro, Insta360, DJI Osmo Action/Pocket and Most Action CamerasThis piece of gear made my filming from riding a bike easy and satisfying. With the DJI osmo pocket 2 equipped with the wide angle attachment, the footage is amazing. I attach it on either my back pack shoulder strap or my shoulder bag strap that goes across my body it makes sure that the footage captured is a good perspective for the viewers. essentially centered and not shaky (as it would have been if it were attached to the bike handle)The ability to adjust the angle and ability to remove the osmo pocket on the fly from the clip with a quick release mechanism is a feature i cannot ignore! possibly the best feature in combination with the other 2 items ive listed earlier in this review.

This camera mount clip is a great accessory! First off, it feels very well made and extremely strong and durable. Seriously, this isn't just some plastic mount, this is a "beast" of an accessory. It does have a little weight to it, but it's nothing that is uncomfortable or awkward. The clip is very easy to use and setup and so far, I have only used it on my hats and backpack strap, but I am sure it can be used for many other applications as well. Between the hats and my backpack strap, I had no concerns of it falling off or coming loose - even with the weight of different action cameras. All things considered, I really like this mount and because of the versatility and build quality, I am proud to have this as a tool in my camera bag!

This beetle clip is very strong and more than capable of securing all of my action cams and DSLR to my belt or to a backpack strap. It even locks in place for more security. My backpack has pretty thick straps and this clip has two settings to accommodate for the thickness. Very small and very light weight you will not even know its there. Truly a great system, I am looking forward to seeing what other accessories they are going to come up with for this system.Thank you for a fantastic product.

So far this is great. I need to go out and shut and walk around to test it. Got this one over peak design because how easy it is to change from belt to my backpack.

Used this for our Costa Rica trip and it couldn't have been better! It locks the camera on the clip while only letting you pull the camera up out of the clip (when attached correctly). The clip is super durable design giving you 3 options of strap thickness to attach it to. It gave us complete peace of mind that the camera was safe and won't drop or fall off while still being easy access for quick photo opportunities. Great price especially for how safe we felt using it!

Pretty easy to set up, less money than the PD variant, feels very safe and secure. I just got it so I can't say for sure how durable it will be, but it feels solid and well designed

Haven't used it in the field, however you can tell it's made with quality and durability in mind. I would be shocked if this ever has any issues

I love this clip SO much!!! I got it for my trip to Zion National Park, where we had several moderate to strenuous hikes planned. I didn't want my camera around my neck and swinging, but also wanted it at the ready for surprise photo ops. I was slightly apprehensive with the reviews that said the metal bar broke, but this clip stayed locked and sturdy my whole trip! It easily carried the weight of my camera, and the lock mechanism was amazing. This clip survived scaling boulders and hiking mountains with ease. I 100% recommend it if you want easy access to your camera that's secure!

the delivery took a little long but the products actually fulfil their purpose. Unfortunately, the plate locking mechanism is not entirely reliable for me. When putting on the rucksack, the plate fell off twice, thankfully without the camera on it, so to summarise my feelings: mediocre

As soon as you take this camera clip out of the packaging, it is very apparent, that the quality is excellent. It is easy to use and the back side (that would face your body) is rounded on all edges. I have mine on a PGYTech OneMo2 35L camera bag and I couldn't love it more. I will say that the way they designed that bag, it attaches in front of the big padded strap, thus never touching against your body. A very nice design touch, HOWEVER, (very small caveat) the strap that it does attach to allows it to move a little, even on tightest. Not worth removing a star at all, as I feel like that is kind of a circumstantial situation. I would HIGHLY highly highly recommend this camera quick release for your backpack (and the PGYTech OneMo 2 bag). I read all the reviews before buying, like you, so trust me, I know you need to hear this, GET THIS ONE.
