Great little tool. Always in my camera bag. The only thing that would make this a 5 is if they had a design where you didn't have to keep the compartment open int order to connect to your computer. Other than that, works well.

Review I was looking for a compact SD card solution that I could use across multiple devices, carry easily in my bag, and store cards securely, and I think I struck gold. The form factor is compact, and the rugged, rubberized outer case feels great in your hand and seems like it would handle short drops without any issue. Overall, the unit is very user-friendly and thoughtfully designed. The SD cards slide in and out of the storage slots smoothly, and the attached cable is very convenient and easy to manage. With both SD and microSD card readers built into one device, I'm honestly considering replacing my SanDisk 1TB SSD. That drive works fine, but it's not nearly as travel-friendly since it needs a bulky case just to keep track of the cable. What I love most about this device is how seamless it is to move between devices. I can go from laptop to desktop to tablet, and even to my phone, without any hassle. I also use a body camera that records to a microSD card, and being able to quickly pull context and footage from that card without hunting for adapters has been extremely useful. I'm an Apple user, and I was able to plug this directly into my iPhone 15 Pro Max while sitting in my vehicle to read and save video files from my dash cam's microSD card. That alone was a huge win for me. Overall, this device solves multiple problems I had when it comes to reading, managing, and storing multiple SD cards, and it does it in a clean, compact, and practical way.

I recently bought the PGYTECH Createmate CFexpress Type B Card Reader Case to organize and protect my memory cards and reader, and it has been excellent. The case feels very solid and well-built. The interior layout is thoughtfully designed, with dedicated slots that securely hold CFexpress Type B cards, SD cards, and the card reader. Everything stays in place during transport, and there's no risk of cards shifting around or getting damaged. The compact size makes it easy to carry in my camera bag without taking up much space, yet it still holds a useful number of cards. The zipper is smooth and seems durable enough for regular use, and the overall quality feels premium compared to cheaper generic cases. I've been let down by a handful of card readers to date. I use this thing just about every day for work. So far, this one has taken the abuse I've thrown at it and is still chugging along, knock on wood. The pigtail cable tucks in for easy storage and you don't have to worry about losing it, and is long enough to actually not be a hassle to use. Initially I was skeptical about how the cable would hold up, thinking it is the weak link in the scheme, but it has put up with twisting, flopping about, deploying, storing, redeploying, again and again. The versatility is there, it can do SD cards, microSD, and has places to store extra cards. Interface is USB-C for high speed data transfer. Plug it in, put in your card, it's easy. Mine came with a rubberized sleeve that makes it even more rugged, and when not in use, the reader slides back into it's own container for easy transport/storage. Nice. Good bang for buck.

This item is built well and so easy to attach to other equipment.

I absolutely love this product. I did a lot of research looking for a solid SD card holder. This one doesn't hold a ton of SD cards, but the functionality of it is fantastic. I love how I'm able to plug a card in, and then plug it into my computer. It's super easy. I also love how there are spots for micro SD cards as well. I usually use those with an adapter so it is very handy for me. One of my favorite things about this is the sleek look. It feels really nice in my hand and it fits well in my pocket. The rubber sleeve it comes with is also very handy if I'm exploring with my camera. The price is great for it being an SD card holder and being able to plug in to my computer. I would recommend highly for fellow photographers out there.

I can't say enough good things about PGYTECH. Their gear is top-notch, and this CreateMate USB 3.2 CFexpress Card Reader is no exception. I love this thing. I really liked the first iteration too but it had an issue where it would jam up easily when closed and sometimes get stuck. Also it sucked because I couldn't store my CFexpress cards nor did i have a reader. This fixed both of those issues. I think if I were to ask for a v3 I'd add the micro SD slot back in and exchange one of the CF express storages to SD. Minor issues for me personally, besides that I can't recommend this thing enough. Great, safe storage, FAST transfers speeds, great for keeping everything in one place.

Allows for 2 x CF Express B plus SD. Micro Sd and sim on the other side. Solidly built and high transfer speed. Will never lose another loose card and will cut down on carrying readers etc.

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is that the only way to connect it is a built in usb-c cable that is very short. Makes It hard to upload files when it barely reaches the ports on my pc. It would be much better with a built in port that I could use my own cables with. Otherwise a great product. Very durable and versatile. Would be nice if a dedicated micro sd slot was added, but the adaptor card at least makes it possible to use them.
