Nice strap for the Cannon R7 with small lens. Comfortable also. Not as robust as the more expensive brand I own that as tough as a seat belt

The strap is slightly wider, significantly thicker, and much much softer than my Nikon D 800 strap. The holder where the ball goes into are plastic are rubber. It takes a significant amount of pressure on the rubber membrane to release the ball from the holder. The ball will not come out accidentally, but the ball is easy to insert into the holder. The buckles that are used to adjust the length of the strap are plastic with no clamping mechanism. Once the camera and strap are around your neck you can use the small fabric tab to shorten the strap by pulling up with the tab. To lengthen the strap, you hold the buckle on the sides with one hand and pull the strap down with the other hand. It works easily for me. All-in-all, I like this strap.

I wasn't sure what I would be getting when I ordered this strap. I just wanted a comfortable strap and the PGYTECH 1.8" is it! I have tried all kinds of straps but never worn one that is not only incredibly comfortable but also so utilitarian and top-notch quality. The way you can move your DSLR to take a shot is pure magic. It's so good, I'll be buying another one very soon.

I'm so glad I purchased this over another big brand as I feel you get more dollar for dollar. Adjustments are smooth and fast plus I never have to worry about a twist in my strap when I clip in because it can rotate freely. It feels great quality and I trust even my heavier setup on it. I'll update this review if time tells otherwise but for now it's 5stars all the way around

I received this today and installed it immediately. I'm not a pro or even a photography hobbyist, I'm just a guy who wanted a good camera for vacation photos and an upcoming trip to Africa. I bought a decent Sony a6400 and some optional gear to go with it and I wanted a better strap than the one in the box. I've never used a Peak Design product which is what everyone compares these things too. So I have no experience with them. But, this could not be any easier to connect and disconnect from the camera. The padded strap will definitely be comfy. It came with extra parts and is less expensive than the PD.

I was first looking at the Peak Design Strap. What drew me to this was the extra padding around the neck. It was very comfortable and the clips were very easy to put onto my camera. I was nervous at how sturdy the clips were but had no issues at all and could walk around with ease knowing my camera wasn't going to come off the strap and fall. My camera is a Canon 6D Mark ii so has some decent weight to it. I also had no issues taking the camera on and off the strap quickly when needed. I'll definitely be looking forward to purchasing more products from them in the future. I liked the silver strap as well. It just matches a variety of different clothing styles vs the typical black straps or other colors you typically see.

Wow this really made carrying around my larger camera and lens very comfortable. This doesn't have the camera bouncing around on your body. Very easy to get adjusted and the right length. I am 6' 1" and I was concerned it wouldn't be long enough but it fit great. A nice padded strap and it made it easy to carry my camera around YellowStone NP.

These aren't my first backpack camera straps—though my previous ones were from a different brand—so I have a good basis for comparison. The PGYTECH straps are incredibly sturdy and, thanks to the carabiner clips, attach very quickly. I am particularly impressed by the adjustability of the length; this works perfectly even when a Nikon Z6III with a large telephoto lens is attached. I use the Arca-Swiss quick-release plate from my Beetle Clip, to which I have attached the Quick Beads. This results in a more comfortable carrying position, especially when using a telephoto lens. I highly recommend this product.

They work great with a backpack.

I'm new to photography and wanted a strap that was better quality than the kit strap on my Sony a6300 and had quick release connectors. I went with the PGYTECH after watching a bunch of reviews on the strap and it looked like a great, more affordable, alternative to the, seemingly industry standard, Peak Design system. I really like the connectors and the plate that come with it. The strap is very easy to adjust, while staying secure and is very comfortable in the limited time I've used it. It seems to have great build quality as well. My only gripe that knocks a start off is that the listing, and reviews I'd watched, say that the connectors are supposed to be magnetic so that you can magnet them together when the strap is not in use. My strap's connectors are NOT magnetic, they don't stay when brought together and don't seem to have any magnetic pull at all, so I'm guessing they're just solid plastic. Not a deal breaker for me as it was just a perk, but something that was a bit of a surprise when I was out shooting and took my camera off the strap and couldn't easily secure the loose strap.

I bought another camera harness to carry my heavy lens and needed another set of these straps. These straps are well made and very easy to use. I can connect and release the bead with one hand.

This is easily the most comfortable camera strap I have ever used. I have never skimped on straps, thinking that if we are spending so much money on a camera, it is worth investing in a secure and comfortable strap. I have owned many straps of various designs over the years and recently thought I would give the quirky PGYTECH Air a go and was very impressed, however, I often use a telephoto prime on my Nikon D850 ( approx 2 kg ) and for extended trips I felt I needed something else with a bit more padding. It made sense to try the regular PGYTECH since the connectors will allow me to swap straps as needed with other camera bodies. I was not disappointed. The padding is excellent and extremely comfortable. Reminds me of a Lowepro Voyager I had many years ago and while good for comfort it did not grip well and had a tendency to slip when wearing synthetic fabrics No such problem with the PGYTECH. It grips nicely on all fabrics. Although, not something I do for any length of time, it is also comfortable when wearing around the neck. Few straps are. Unlike the traditional 'seat-belt' straps, the edges do not rub against the skin. The quick release mechanism is excellent and easy to attach and re-attach the anchors, even one handed. Additionally, with the bead design, they are free to rotate, unlike the PD anchors so this means the strap is far less likely to become twisted. I also like that the strap is narrower below the padding unlike the ungainly design of the PD strap. It comes with a pair of spare anchors and these can also be purchased seperately. You also get a good qulaity QR plate with attachment points if you favour the vlogger-trendy style with one anchor attached to the camera underside. In terms of longevity, my older Air strap is still not showing any signs of wear so I cannot comment on how long the anchors last but I suspect it is a considerable amount of time. The anchor cord is smoother than the PD equivalent and possibly less likely to be susceptible to abrasion. The length adjusters are very easy to use and glide effortlessly. I have not noticed and slippage either. If I could find any niggle it is the use of metal parts, since these put the camera and its screen at risk from scrathicng but it only appears on the buckles and is neatly recessed so I don't forsee any issues, unlike PD with their buckle locks and exposed metal springs on the anchor attachments. In terms of value, this is a high quality strap at around half the price of the main rival, and a superior product in my opinion. I had no objection to paying more for a good strap so being competitively priced was a bonus. This is certainly not a low budget compromise and having no brand loyalty or budgetery restraints , I was free to select the best strap for the job. I can thoroughly recommend this strap to anyone seeking maximum comfort when toting a heavy camera for extended periods. That being said, I don't feel it is too bulky for a smaller or lighter camera but there are less expensive, low profile altrenatives. For example, I'll now be be using the Air strap for my F100, or even on the D850 when using a small lens. In short, a reasonably priced high quality strap, that is secure, comfortable and with a quick and convenient attachment system.
