If you are a vlogger with small camera this is the tripod you need, easy to use but the legs can be challenging meaning you have to adjust it every single time and its super light

Excellent tripod and fits with smaller udgraded system small enough that camera 2 lenses drone and tripod all fit in the bag.

The fact I can pack this feature-packed little tripod into a tiny crossbody bag and know I'll always be covered for all my static shot needs at a moment's notice is where the real value is. Comes with a great quick release plate and the fact that it always has the phone mount stored inside is so valuable for me. I'm hanging my cameras and phone over the ledges of places where I was never able to do so before. Doorways, fences, you start to just find new places to hang it. I had a Joby gorillapod way back, and this tripod gives me way less anxiety about it falling down. My one criticism- is that I wish that I didn't have to screw the phone mount onto the quick release plate in order to mount my phone to the tripod, because I want to keep the quick release attached on my larger camera. I also own a PGYTECH camera bag, and I love the work they're doing with their designs. Overall, love this tripod. ??

Love this thing. Super easy and fun to use. It takes a few uses to get comfortable/understand how to set up your shots correctly. But easy going after that

Honestly haven’t used the Tripood yet so can’t say anything about it but it seems as it should.

I always carried a "travel" tripod that is more for actual photography shooting than travelling. With the MantisPod I can carry a smaller backpack to my trips that are not 100% photography based and is way less cumbersome.

This little thing is so versitile. I don't know why I didn't buy oe sooner. My only grip is that the little bluetooth remote doesn't stay in place that well, it sometime falls out of the storage spot in the handle. Other than that, everything is so well made and sturdy. Holds a dslr with an L lens with no problems.

This device has many uses but requires an understanding of what it is best at, such as being lightweight, versatile, having a remote control, hanging off of something, and being capable of getting the job done without a lot of fuss. I have used this device for a couple of months, taken it out in the field, used it on a walkabout, and enjoyed its simplicity and ease. The weird thing about it is how stiff the joints are; moving the legs requires more force than usual. This will all loosen up over time. Other than that, the mantis performs well. I have been able to not use a gimbal occasionally by using this device.

This is exactly the tripod I was looking for, I got it as a gift and is fantastic, I want to get the Bluetooth remote mostly for familiar selfies, however I have few questions... Will it work with the Canon R6 Mark II? I can see the original R6 listed but not the mark II, also how the focus will work for taking pictures? Since there is no dedicated AF button and I have my camera configured using back button AF and Servo AF (Continuous Autofocus) not sure if pressing the photo button in the controller will focus before taking the picture or not. I also have the Canon Bluetooth Remote and when using it I don't have to set the camera drive to timer, just press the AF and the shutter button and done. Thanks!

I was super hyped to receive the MantisPod 2.0! I am finishing up Graphic Design school and want to become a content creator, so I needed a portable solution for vlogging, and the MantisPod 2.0 is perfect! The tripod has several ways that it can be held or put on a surface, and the inclusion of a cold shoe mount on the side for a light or microphone is a nice touch. I love the optional remote as well. This tripod makes vlogging much easier! I highly recommend picking this one up!

The PGYTech MantisPod 2.0 is a versatile and compact tripod for me. It is designed to be lightweight and portable, making it ideal for outdoor and indoors photography and videography. This has replaced my Joby gorilla pod and has become my one and only vlogging tripod. It features a sturdy plastic construction and a versatile ball head that allows for easy adjustments. Additionally, it has a system that helps you serecure your camera for extra protection. Did i say it comes with a remote control that wirelessly allows you to operate your camera? One of the things I love is its compact size and foldable design, making it easy to carry in a camera bag or backpack. In terms of performance, the MantisPod 2.0 provides solid stability and support for your camera and the ball head is easy to adjust. And of course, the "mantis feature allows you to hang it in non traditional ways. Highly recommend this especially at the price point, its a MUST for all photographers/videographers out there.

I loved the MantisPod 1.0 but had a few things I wished were better. MantisPod 2.0 delivered on all points. The ability to add your own ball head was something I wanted from the start and I had jury rigged things to sort of work. Now that I can add my own ball head everything I had an issue with is no longer as issue. Things are much tighter now so there is absolutely no wobble on any plane. I carry my Sony fx30 with me everywhere and now it is right at home on the MantisPod 2.0. If you're looking for the perfect grip for your run and gun vlogging then look no further.

I bought the more expensive mechanical one, but I always preferred something simpler the control is a competitive advantage—honestly my go-to for travel content creation. The buttons are more firm, and the thickness of the handles is for better grip. The clamp is way better now. So it doesn’t loosen. I have a half-cage Sony a7iv and a mic on top. The rigid mount for the camera puts my mind at ease. I even put the camera out the window of my car at times. I was getting shots.
Run and gun life.

I just unboxed my MantisPod 2.0 and immediately was surprised it's now made entirely out of plastic - including the tripod head. Yet, this new build material comes at very little in weight savings. I then tried to open it and discovered it's now MUCH more difficult to open because there isn't an opening to fit your nail in to separate the legs. The tripod no longer includes the phone holder or the soft storage case. It also no longer supports being extended to be a longer camera support. The only additional new features is the bluetooth remote to start/stop recording on some supported camera models. I am personally disappointed in this product as it is not an improvement over the previous model, but a step backwards in features and build quality to make it cheaper. That's perfectly fine, but perhaps change the name to Mantis LW or Mantis Mini? I will be returning this because this isn't an original metal and sturdy Mantis Pod with added features like the Bluetooth remote. It's a cheaply made and slightly lighter product with less features at a lower price point. The original Mantis Pod blew me away with how well built it was, versatility, and how much weight it could support. This will just be a disappointment for all original owners. BE WARNED, this is not really a Mantis Pod 2.0, but an entirely different product category with a similar design.
