Secure and compatible

The ball head plate has a cold shoe mount and quick setup. Rotate it to
lock more securely. There's a 1/4 inch threaded hole for wide adaptability.

PGYTECH Quick Release System

We have found that photographers often need to detach and mount the quick-release plate all the time. However, most Arca-Swiss compatible designs use the very inconvenient rotation knob. That's why we designed the patented quick release system, which includes a quick release plate and quick release mounting base. The quick release mounting base and plate are both Arca-Swiss compatible, and clamp / lock in only one easy step. The quick release plate uses a patented tight-fitting screw containing a thrust needle roller bearing, which effectively reduces the friction of the rotating surface. It ensures the screws don't rotate when attaching your camera, which ensures the plate doesn't get undone like traditional quick release plates often do.

The Best Lock with limited attachments

This is, hands down, the best locking mechanism I've ever seen or used for an Arca-Swiss plate. It's convenient and reliable like the manfrotto RC2 mechanisms; however, it's for arca-swiss. I experimented using with a variety of the mounts I have and they all work.

The handles and knobs on this little ball head are also reliable and carefully placed. I never found the ergonomics of this to be cumbersome or in the way at anytime.

If PGYTECH turned this new snap-lock mechanism into an adapter for camera/tripod mount I would convert my entire system over to it. I know the snap-lock plate adapter has an adapter already; however, they aren't compatible with all the plates I own.
